School history
Our school is the oldest school in Păcurari neighbourhood; during 1933 and 1934 it was named The Mixed School no. 3. The present building of our school was finished in 1964.
The school’s name
Our school‘s name is Ion Creangă since 1st march 1994.
The reason for which our school has this named is the fact that, between 1874 – 1889 Ion Creangă, one of our national writers, taught at the Boys Primary School no. 2, school that was in the neighbourhood of our present school.
